John Bevere has a passion to see believers get a deeper relationship with God and to live their lives in the eternal perspective. He is a best-selling international author whose books have been translated into more than 50 languages and sold in the millions. With his prize winning teaching he challenges you to let the truths of the Bible penetrate to the depths of your heart, and to let them take you to a higher level with God. He is a sought-after speaker at conferences and host of The Messenger TV, a tv-program that is watched in 200 countries. He and his wife Lisa – also a popular author – run Messenger International and live in Colorado with their four sons.


Ron Luce leads one of the world’s largest missions organisation for teenagers – Teen Mania – which reaches millions of young people all over the US. Teen Mania has drawn close on 2.5 million young people to their conferences around the US. 62,000 teenagers have participated in their team-trips and 7,500 have attended their Bible school. Something that is very much on Ron’s heart is the growing challenge that media and Internet has become for the young generation.


Göran Skytte is a journalist, columnist and author. He is one of Sweden’s most well-known journalists, has won The Grand Prize for Journalism, has run his own talkshow on national TV with an audience of millions for ten years and lives the life of a media personality. So when he got saved, it was big news! Through his lectures, his books and his interviews on TV, radio and in the press, Göran’s textimony has reached a great part of the people of Sweden.


Hans Weichbrodt. Priest in the Swedish Lutheran Church and "Inspirer" within the Oasis Movement, a Charismatic Renewal movement in the Swedish Church. He is on-fire for renewal and revival and carries with him a constant longing for Jesus' Return, about which he often preaches, and he does this from a special perspective - as a disciple of Jesus and the church of Christ in the end times. Hans is a travelling preacher, visiting a wide variety of churches and denominations both in Sweden and over a greater part of Europe.


Berit Simonsson has become a much appreciated speaker at Word of Life. She works as a Bible teacher within OAS-rörelsen (the Oasis movement – Swedish Church), where she also functions as an inspirator. She has also written several books.


Tass Saada was only a teenager when he became a Guerilla fighter for Yassur Arafat. He was a member of the PLO and a cold-blooded murderer. But one day he met Jesus and got saved. His life took a radical turn, and today he works together with his wife, spreading love and understanding through humanitarian aid in Gaza. Tass feels intense love for both Jews and Arabs.


Stephen Sumrall, pastor of Christ Chapel in South Bend, USA, Stephen has become a faithful speaker at the Europe Conference. With a great heart for people, he also runs Feeding the Nations, which distributes food and disaster relief to needy people all over the world.


Carl-Gustaf Severin missionary and pioneer with vast experience preaching the Gospel in other nations and who has seen many great miracles and thousands of people deciding to follow Jesus.


Joakim Lundqvist is Director of Word of Life Bible Centre and leader of the student organisation New Generation, devoted to bringing Jesus to the schools of Sweden. Joakim’s messages challenge listeners to a radical lifestyle and a life committed to others.


Stefan Salmonsson is the pastor of Word of Life in Jönköping, Sweden. Stefan has a great heart for Sweden and works wholeheartedly to see Swedes come to God. He is a highly appreciated speaker, and his teaching, which is both humorous and serious, has Jesus firmly in the centre.


Robert Ekh is assistant pastor at Word of Life in Uppsala and well known for his faith-filled, uncom­promising and powerful teaching of God’s Word. He is also a highly appreciated speaker in our mission fields.




Artists

The 29th Chapter is a christian Hip-Hop-band from England who through their distinctive sound and their aim to create genuine music that people can relate to, have earned themselves a loyal crowd of fans over the years. Since they started out in 1999 they have, besides devoting themselves full-time to their music, started a youth centre with the aim of inspiring and helping young people reach their full potential. Never afraid to express their hearts, they deliver music with artistic integrity and a quality that moves you.


Guy Penrod who grew up in Texas has been singing since early childhood and is best known as one of the members of “The Vocal band” which has been appearing regularly in the very popular TV program, “Homecoming” with Bill and Gloria Gaither at the helm. He has also worked with some of the biggest names in Country and Gospel. After 14 years with the Gaithers, he has now released his own solo album.

 


Gladys del Pilar was born in Equador, South America and, as a seven year-old was adopted and came to live in Sweden. During her growing up years, she experienced an ever-increasing interest for music and it wasn't long before her career as a singer took off. She has appeared with several well-known artists, has recorded a string of radio-hits and taken part in a number of musical presentations. In 2002, together with the group, Afro-Dite, she represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest. Gladys has a scintillating Gospel-voice and in recent years has displayed a burning love for and faith in Jesus, whom she takes every opportunity of glorifying in song.


Martyrion is the name of the successful musical, written and produced at Word of Life, which had its premiere during the New Year festival NioTio. Through music, song, drama and visual effects you get to follow a number of young people – of varying ages and from diverse cultures, who through history have given their lives for their faith in Jesus Christ. This piece of theatre illustrates how their devotion, their attitude to life and death and their relationship with the Lord can inspire and challenge us here and now.


The One-man-show, Nehemiah depicts the life and message of Nehemiah in a fresh and unforgettable way. Actor, David Sveder presents the book of Nehemiah – memorised – in a theatrical and very unique manner, which makes the Scripture come alive with its timely message about reformation and the rebuilding of what had been broken down.


Daniel Viklund is well known by many, both as a preacher and as a singer. He is a trained opera singer who also plays the piano. Maria Almroth is a wonderful singer with many strings to her bow. The wife and mother of 6 children, she runs her own business and is a very active  worship singer. Together, the duo has released the highly popular hymn album, “Låt mig få höra om Jesus” (Tell me the story of Jesus).


A people united, a new song – Praise and worship leaders from a range of backgrounds together in worship. This is a project, led by Bo Järpehag where friends from a range of church backgrounds gather together to exalt the Lord in united, hearty praise and worship. The music is built around the core sound of acoustic guitars. Per-Kjetil Farstad, a music professor from Norway plays beautifully on his classical guitar. Over the top you hear the oboe played sensitively by Lars Berg, who otherwise plays at the Royal Opera in Oslo. Other contributors are Micke and Åsa Finn, Jonas Stenlund, Johnny and Lena Trossö, Viola Grafström, Hasse Lindberg, Peter Wagnberg, Heléne Kallryd, Bo and Elsa Järpehag.


Keshet has since the 90’s performed at hundreds of conserts for Jews in the former Soviet Union. Through song, music and dance they inspire Jews to move home to Israel.
