From 12-14th February 2010, Word of Life will be hosting another Praise and Worship Weekend in Uppsala, and worship leaders and their teams will be coming from all over Sweden and from many other countries.

The aims of the conference are to train, equip and inspire worship leaders, musicians, singers and songwriters (irrespective of their proficiency, experience, or the size of their teams). The weekend will consist of a number of different seminars and workshops around the subject of worship – for example: the priestly ministry, operating together as a team, song-writing, one’s personal life with God, building relationships within the team and with the church leadership, together with a host of practical tips for getting the worship and the music ministry to function better. As well as that, there will be many wonderful moments of praise and worship when together we will take the opportunity of meeting with God, drinking in His presence.

This year, we’ll have the great pleasure of the company of Bengt Johansson – a much appreciated worship-singer, composer and musician.

He’ll be coming to us as part of his Jubilee Tour, “Gladjetåget” (The Joy Train), and we’ll be worshiping God together with him and his entire band.

Our prayer is that this conference will be a blessing to you, as a leader or member of a worship team and for your local congregation and its music life. The weekend will also give you many opportunities for fellowship and times of creativity with new and old friends.
