From Uppsala to the whole world!
When Jesus was here on earth, He gave us a clear commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” [Matt 28:19]
We believe that these words are still relevant and that the commission applies to Christians even today. All over the world, there are people who have never been given the opportunity to hear about Jesus or meet His love in their everyday lives and we are called to give them both of these things. The joyful message of the Gospel and a helping hand in times of trouble.
Ever since we started our church in 1983, missions has been an issue of the heart for us. Missions work became our major focus when the Soviet Union was opened to the Gospel in 1989. Since then, more than 1,000 congregations have been established in Russia, Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Missions work has spread to India, Central Asia, Vietnam, Mongolia and China, but the vision reaches out as far as the Lord leads. Up until now, we have seen God do great things; we think this is just the beginning of what He wants to do!
We work primarily through leadership training, Bible schools, media and books. We have seen many churches, with their own outreach ministry, springing up in a positive multiplication effect. It’s an exciting work, in a state of constant development.
We continue with the vision God gave us as the foundation for our church:
“Equip God’s people with His Word of Faith.
Show them their spiritual weapons.
Teach them to how to use them and
Send them out in victorious battle for the Lord.”

We want you to be able to stay up-to-date at home with what’s going on out in the mission fields. Therefore, we regularly send out emails and videos from our missionaries in various places around the world that you can subscribe to.
